FHIR-Native Data Model
Chorus is built on a FHIR-native architecture using HAPI FHIR JPA with FHIR R4 and US Core profiles.
All clinical data within the platform is stored and managed as standardized FHIR resources, including:
- Patient
- Observation
- Device
- Encounter
- CarePlan
- DiagnosticReport
- Claim
Physiological readings collected from monitoring devices are stored as FHIR Observation resources. Each observation includes structured metadata such as timestamps, device references, and patient associations.
Using a FHIR-native model ensures that clinical data remains interoperable, traceable, and aligned with healthcare data standards.
